At EJ, our commitment goes beyond ethical and legal conduct. We seek to promote a culture of inclusion, social and environmental responsibility and diversity in all our activities, in line with UN principles.

This comprehensive Code of Ethics reflects our dedication to these values, incorporating inclusion, socio-environmental and diversity policies, along with anti-corruption and anti-money laundering policies.

1. Integrity, Transparency and Commitment to UN Principles

1.1 We are committed to conducting all our business with honesty, integrity and transparency, adhering to UN principles, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

1.2 We do not accept, process or facilitate transactions involving funds from illegal, illegitimate or suspicious activities, in accordance with UN guidelines.

1.3 We promote an organizational culture that values equality, diversity, social justice and respect for human rights, in line with the principles of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

2. Customer Knowledge, Due Diligence and Social and Environmental Responsibility

2.1 We carry out a thorough assessment of our customers, partners and suppliers to ensure that their activities are compatible with the UN principles and sustainable development goals.

2.2 We keep complete and accurate records of all business transactions and activities, in accordance with UN best practices.

2.3 We regularly monitor and evaluate business relationships to identify and mitigate risks that could negatively affect our social and environmental principles and commitments.

3. Transparent Communication, Collaboration with Authorities and Inclusion

3.1 We clearly and promptly report any suspicion of criminal activity, money laundering, violation of the principles or any discriminatory practice to the competent authorities.

3.2 We cooperate fully with the authorities in investigations related to the prevention of money laundering, illegal activities, violations of the principles and inclusion issues.

3.3 We promote an inclusive work environment where all people are valued and respected, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age or any other characteristic.

4. Training, Awareness and Diversity

4.1. We provide regular training to our employees on our principles, laws, regulations, anti-money laundering practices, anti-corruption and diversity and inclusion policies.

4.2 We encourage ongoing awareness of the UN principles, money laundering risks, discriminatory practices and the importance of reporting any suspicious activity or non-inclusive behavior.

5. Legal Compliance, Ethics, Commitment to UN Principles, Inclusion, Socio-environment and Diversity

5.1 We comply with all laws, regulations and guidelines related to the UN principles, the Sustainable Development Goals and the promotion of inclusion and diversity.

5.2 We cooperate fully with government authorities, international organizations and other stakeholders to promote the UN principles and social and environmental responsibility.
